Dr. R. Chiu joined Nephrology Associates of Southwestern Ohio in 2009 after finishing his nephrology fellowship in Brown University at Rhode Island. He completed his residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia. He finished his medical degree in Cebu Doctors’ University, Philippines. Dr. Chiu was voted to the 2024 Top Doctors List in Nephrology by Cincinnati Magazine.

Dr. S. Brahmbhatt joined Nephrology Associates of Southwestern Ohio in August 2018 after finishing his nephrology fellowship in Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Cleveland, Ohio. He completed his residency at Morristown Medical Center / Atlantic Heath System, Morristown, New Jersey. He finished his medical degree in C.U. Shah Medical College and Hospital, Surendra Nagar, Gujarat, India. Dr. Brahmbhatt is a member of the American Society of Nephrology (ASN), Renal Physician Association (RPA), National Kidney Foundation (NKF), American Society of Diagnostic and Interventional Nephrology (ASDIN), Kidney Foundation of Ohio (KFO), and American College of Physicians; ACP Ohio Chapter. Dr. Brahmbhatt was voted to the 2024 Top Doctors List in Nephrology by Cincinnati Magazine.

Dr. Estella will be joining Nephrology Associates of Southwestern in 2024 after finishing his nephrology fellowship at University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, Ohio. He completed his residency at St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He finished his medical degree at A.T. Still University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Mesa, Arizona. A native of Peru, Dr. Estella is fluent in Spanish.

Jessica joined the practice as a nurse practitioner in 2016. She has five years prior experience as a registered nurse working in the telemetry, oncology and acute care setting. She completed her masters in the science of nursing at the University of Cincinnati. Jessica specialized in Adult-Gerontology Acute Care.

Vanessa Joined NASWO in 2022. She attended Mount St. Joseph University to complete her Masters in Physician Assistant studies and became board certified through the NCCPA in May 2022. She completed her nephrology rotation at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, gaining experience in dialysis, CKD, vascular access, and transplant. After completing her rotation, she was certain she wanted to specialize in nephrology. Upon joining our practice in July of 2022, she has worked alongside all three of our physicians, providing care for our patients. In 2023, she had the opportunity to attend NKF Clinical Meeting. In her free time, she enjoys hiking with her dog, rollerblading, and indoor rock climbing.

Mark joined NASWO in 2023. He attended The University of Toledo Physician Assistant School and graduated with his Masters in Biomedical Sciences degree in 2020. He passed his board certification and obtained his license to practice as a PA in 2021. He started his career in Men’s health and Urgent Care before transitioning into Nephrology. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family and many pets.
